Most of the time good, but sometimes portion sizes are off. I got a veggie pasta that barely had vegetables and when I asked for more they wanted to charge me. Besides that, they will cater to customizing dishes for any dietary restrictions or allergies. I love the food condiments that they have.

Loved the food, although the waiting time may be a little long, the wait was worth it. On a sunny day the outdoor area is s great place to absorb sunlight and take on the warmth of the sun. Recommend it if you are within Houston area.

Came here for lunch on a Thursday and was pleasantly surprised it was not as busy as expected. Ordered a Soup and Salad meal combo, and it was pretty good for the price. I had the creamy new potato soup. I would recommend this place for a quick lunch if you work in the area. Pros: -Quick service -Value Cons: -Parking may be an issue

The half roasted chicken was good. It came with mashed potatoes and green beans. I really liked it. I really enjoyed the salad bar as well since it had yummy bread sticks and other good options. Their grated cheese was good too. Staff was nothing great, but the place is pretty well kept overall.

The southwest burger was really good. The grilled chicken and pasta pesto salad was awesome. And the serious sweet tea was flavorful. The staff was very nice and attentive. We will definitely visit again.

We first came here and thought it was good we came in and got no service,no one even greeted us or said welcome.the lady was very nice and patient. The food was cooked fast but the French toast was just grease I couldn't even feed it to our 1 year old because it was so much grease.the fruits that came with it were all hard and dried up.i have to say though the French fries were GREAT. We also got the southwest scramble I WOULD NOT suggest it because it was way to spicy and no taste AT ALL. We ended up taking the French toast and fruit back and they have gave us our money back which was very nice. I think the staff is very nice but I wouldn't suggest coming here for a very nice meal.

I eat breakfast here a few times a week and I keep going back time after time not just because of the delicious food, but also the service. The staff there is helpful and friendly and just genuinely helps out where they can, which is a rare quality these days. I have also used this particular location on a few catered events and I have to say, The General Manager, Milton, is one of the best contributing factors to the great customer service. It shows he leads by example. I highly recommend Cafe Express, specifically this location. Go, Enjoy great service and great food.
